Behavioural Problems
If we do not answer dogs' needs, behavioural problems will occur sooner or later.
Surely, obvious aggressiveness is most easily noticed, but there are also aggressive signals more difficult to spot, as well as other signals, almost invisible, that show that the dog does not feel comfortable, that it has an issue.
Any dog that lives indoors with humans... not in its natural way of living, will show some form of behavioural problem from time to time. Just because it seems calm does not mean that in time it cannot develop some issue. Also, all dogs are not the same, so some are more sensitive than others. Some are more prone to one type, others to another types of problems.
Sometimes it happens that the owners cannot tell why the behaviour changed, for instance, how excessive fear developed or anxiety from firecrackers, which were not there before; or fear from passing by a certain gate that it didn't pay attention at before... Because even though we think we did everything the right way, one small detail – unnoticeable or unimportant to us – can be the switch. In this situation, it is not us or the dog to be blamed. The problem is to be solved!
